A Shabbaton is a lovely way to share Shabbat with our women of WRJ District #1. Join us for an original WRJ Shabbat service, Torah study using our new Women’s Torah Commentary, a lovely Yes Fund luncheon presented by the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am, and an afternoon of workshops on topics like building a better nominating committee, improving Sisterhood and synagogue relationships, having fun with fundraising, and learning to communicate better. Our special guest will be Cantor Jodi Schechtman who will help lead us in prayer and study
In addition to attending, you can sign up to read Torah or lead prayer in Hebrew or English. Just let us know by returning the tear-off below by June 6.
Please note: There will be a half hour board meeting for
District #1 Officers and Area Directors immediately following the Shabbaton.
